    Default Can't remove weight bolt

I can't remove the bolt because it is too tight! How can I remove it without having to take it to a custom cue shop?
    Thanks

    sharknu,
That's a bigger question than what you might think. I know that what you are looking for is a quick & easy answer to your question but it's a matter of liability & responsibility. There is the potential for some serious damage, based on multiple conditions, that would lead me to suggest that you have this addressed by a professional. Whatever small charge incurred will be offset by what could be a considerably larger fee to repair damage if not done correctly. Not to jest but do you do your own brake repairs on your car?

KJ...all it is....is a standard head screw driver. As you can see others have unscrewed their bolts. I am a pro at taking out bolts but this one is too tight for me muscles...LOL> Anyone please give me suggestions besides taking it to a custom shop.
    Thanks

It might be glued so it's best that you don't apply too much force and take it to a pro cuesmith

Make sure you are using a large straight blade screw driver. Have someone else hold the cue firmly for you. Insert screw driver blade into head of screw. Hold screw driver very firmly as you twist the screw out. (make sure to hold on tight we don't want to be getting the first aid kit out!) Make sure you are unscrewing counter clockwise.
Let me know if you still have problems.
